Rebecca has over twenty years experience teaching drawing classes and workshops. She has taught at the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, the National Gallery and the Linnean Society and she is faculty tutor at the Royal Drawing School. She has given talks at the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum, University College London and New Networks for Nature conference in Stamford. She has also given Artist’s Talks at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery, the Quai Branly Museum in Paris, and The Lightbox in Surrey.

Rebecca has recently started a mentoring programme for new graduates and early career artists.

Rebecca has a remarkable collection of natural history specimens, including skulls, bones, nests and exotic feathers. She can bring these to classes for students to work from.

With fellow artist and Royal College of Art alumnus, Sandy Ross Sykes, Rebecca has set up Drawn from Nature workshops. Together, they run pop-up art classes teaching botanical painting, and nature drawing. Please contact for bespoke classes and one-to-one tuition.
